It would seem that once you get out past the limits of the city that just because a road has a bike lane at the beginning doesn't mean it will continue to have a bike lane for very long!

Midnight Run

It's 28°F outside and the middle of the night, sounds like a good time for biking.
i still havent gotten enough of my new pedals and shifter (its moves between my back gears like butter!) and i just made the best techno playlist. i just couldn't help myself.

the best part was hitting next song on my ipod at the top of the hill so i could shift up and power down the hill after the 4th bar (its a dj thing dont worry bout it) and the tears that the cold had brought to my eyes were brushed across my cheeks by the wind as i soared down a deserted monroe ave.

Straight from the shop ride

I fixed up my bike today, took it to my favorite shop and got a flat fixed, a new derailer control (i steped on the old one) and best of all some new shark pedals, i wanted the ones from my old bike but this ones will grow on me im sure.

spent more on my bike today than i actually spent to buy it off my old roomate, but oh well.

at 4 o clock i set out hoping to get back before dark i went downtown and went along the river all the way to B street and by the skate park then went back up hill by the campus and past the horses and then gladly coasted downhill back home

Milk Run

I forgot to buy milk the day before and since driving to the store just for one thing seemed like a waste i hopped on my bike with my backpack and went for a grocery run.
